Banana Varieties

9 traditional and export-grade banana varieties, grown and graded on our own farms in Theni — from firm-textured Nendran supplied in bulk to food manufacturers and processing units, to sweet Poovan and Rasthali packed for premium retail shelves.

About Our Banana Cultivation

Grown across Theni's fertile plains.

Banana has been at the heart of Payirsei's cultivation from day one. Grown on our own farms in Theni, Tamil Nadu, our plants benefit from fertile soil, consistent irrigation, and a climate suited to steady, near year-round harvests.

We cultivate 9 varieties side by side — from firm-textured cooking bananas supplied to food manufacturers and processing units, to sweet dessert varieties packed for premium retail shelves and export buyers.

Every bunch is harvested at the right maturity for its intended market, then sorted for size, ripeness, and finish before packing — so what ships matches what was quoted, whether the order is a trial batch or a full container load.
